Jennifer Mathews

Jennifer Mathews graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS), South Africa, in 1997. She followed this with a Post-graduate Diploma in Management from the WITS Business School.

Pursuing a corporate career in marketing within the publishing industry, particularly in magazines, she used her writing skills extensively, creating content for various marketing channels, including digital and social media platforms and, on a more academic level, writing communication plans, training manuals and board reports.

Naturally drawn to the arts and involved in various branches of artistic activity, such as painting, photography, dance and cooking, Jennifer left the corporate world to pursue more creative work in 2012.

With a love for the intricacies of language and the art of storytelling, Jennifer embarked on a career in book editing in 2020 and now creates with the medium of words. She enjoys most the editing of fiction, memoir and inspirational genres but is open to editing any book with a strong message to share. Jennifer also offers both independent and traditional publishing services, ghostwriting and proofreading.
