About Pamela Lynch

Pamela Lynch was born in the Lincolnshire steel works town of Scunthorpe and emigrated to Western Australia with her family at the age of 13. Having married at 19 and raised two daughters she made the decision at the age of 40 to return to study. After 15 years part-time at the University of Western Australia, she gained her PhD in Classics and Ancient History and then went on to trek to Everest Base Camp at 60. She has four grandchildren and currently enjoys life as a traveller, adventurer, blogger and speaker.
