About David Cantrip​

David Cantrip was born in Greece, while his parents were on a diplomatic posting to Athens. He was then raised and schooled in England. He attended Cambridge University, where he read law. He went to the Bar (joining the same chambers as Sarah Caudwell, to whom this book is dedicated); and then became ensconced in the world of whisky, in both a professional and an appreciative capacity. He spent many years there, working in the UK and internationally. As well as whisky (and wine), he also enjoys fishing and painting.
