K N Ho is an Australia-based author who spends much of her time growing the home library, drinking tea, or scouring the internet for cheap flights to, well, anywhere. Born in the United Kingdom to an immigrant family from Hong Kong, she grew up navigating multiple cultural identities, all while pondering how to appropriately answer the question, “Where are you from?”

What began as a whimsical escape during the COVID-19 pandemic while she juggled studies and a period of personal upheaval, Knells of a Kingdom evolved into an exploration of themes of belonging and the many forms it can take.
