The Squire of Kilwaughter

Born into a wealthy family in Georgian Ireland, Edmund Williams Agnew inherits his grandfather’s landed estate in Kilwaughter, Co Antrim and goes to live there with his sister, set for a gentleman’s life.

Yet Edmund’s comfortable future is rocked as social turmoil and revolution streaks through Europe, threatening stability and resulting in horrific bloodshed.

Caught unwittingly in the fires of two revolutions, Edmund must navigate a precarious path to protect those he loves while grappling with his longing for romance and an heir. A forbidden love offers a solution to one problem but soon plunges him into a deeper web of peril, where his greatest test will come.

Set in high society Dublin, Belfast, and rural Kilwaughter during the Napoleonic War and through the events of the Irish Rising of 1798, this story has a unique Irish twist and an intriguing mystery to solve.
